GROWN MAN LOSES A WRESTLING MATCH TO AN EMU IN THE MIDDLE OF A DEVON ROAD, ALPACA WATCHES

James Barker was driving the A381 near Salcombe, Devon, when he came across a grown man in the road locked up with an escaped emu. He pulled over to let the guy get hold of it, then decided it was too funny not to film. Correct call. The video goes how these things go. The man gets the emu to the ground, which is where his day peaks, and then the bird gets back on its feet and knocks him on his backside. He can be heard shouting "emu down, emu down" like a man calling in air support that is never coming. Barker, 46, filmed it on September 9, and the scuffle ran at least 20 seconds before the bird ended it. An alpaca stood inside the farm gate and watched the entire thing. No assist. The ending is the part that stings. The emu walked back to the gate under its own power, and the man went over and closed it behind the bird. He contributed nothing to the outcome except his own body. Barker's wife Ro posted the clip and it's past two million views, so he is now famous in the worst available way.
